Project objective included updating website to integrate eCommerce features

One of the project requirements meant the image of the store remain as the main feature on the homepage all year round. As a static image that didn’t have a link, it took up valuable homepage real estate. However, we agreed to include a call to action and link on this image to improve usability and engagement.

To create more entry points for a potential customer on the homepage, I suggested, coded and wrote the call to action for a monthly feature that appeared as a text link above the main feature image. 

I also changed the product feature from showing all 30+ products in the ‘Nines Favorites products’ collection on the homepage to showing three with the option to see more. This freed up additional space to feature another category of products.
